During January 22-24, 2019, COERR’s Agricultural and Livelihood Program Officers from Mae Hong Son, Mae Sarieng, Kanchanaburi and Mae Sot Field Offices paid visits to Mae Ramad Cooperatives in Tak Province. The visits were parts of the three day workshop held in Mae Sot as to review and evaluate the 2017-2018 program implementation so that the lessons learned will help improve the work in 2019 for the benefit of vulnerable refugees. The workshop was successfully implemented. COERR Program Officers also learned from the Farm that is well known for new theory of sufficiency economy method and has market networking that lead to their success. They also learned a lot from the achievement of the Cooperatives of which they can transfer the knowledge and new experiences to the refugee farmers in the camps.
COERR trained vulnerable refugees in agriculture and livelihood curriculum that enable them to acquire skills and can produce agricultural products for self consumption and income generation that they can use for future career in the third country resettlement or homeland.
